The ZAC Foundation was established in 2008 by Karen and Brian Cohn after losing their 6-year-old son, Zachary Archer Cohn, in a swimming accident in their backyard pool. The camp uses classroom activities, in-water swimming instruction, and first responder interaction to teach essential swim safety lessons. 120 kids ages five through nine are attending the 4-day camp, which teaches valuable information to keep them safe in the water.
